From the time Bernie and I met in 1980 at Pinewoods we had a very close, supportive, loving friendship. At the music weekends and summer camp, in addition to playing a lot of music together, we regularly shared stories about our families, children, work, joys, and stresses. The 2 years we spent together after Myrna died, including getting to know Amy and Eric and their families, were very special to me. I will always treasure my memories of Bernie as the wonderfully warm, generous, loving and talented person he was. Toni
